Schrum Figure

I was scheduled to purchase a brand new illusion for my act when I was offered to buy this new figure. I guess the new illusion will have to wait :) *This is a one of a kind figure made by Mr. Shannon Schrum of Schrum Studios as verified by Mr Schrum in his email to me.

A follow-up email stated "It was made in 1987 and was used by our own company unitl it was sold a few years ago." - Mr Shannon Schrum, Schrum Studios

I'll most probably play with this figure for a little while but will end up selling it to any interested buyer with an interesting offer.

It has raising eyebrows and side to side moving eyes aside from the standard moving mouth of course :) It has a wooden body and latex hands from Steve Axtell of Axtell Expressions.

I requested a letter of authenticity from Mr Schrum and he sent one already bearing the company logo of Schrum Studios and of course signed by Mr Shannon Schrum :)

Vent Improv is a very challenging routine considering the fact that the vents need to think fast while they manipulate their hard figures/dummies/puppets.

JC Parker of Viva Hot Babes

I was scheduled to perform my Ventrillusion act at the NBI party last December 20 and JC Parker of Viva Hot Babes was calling out for a couple of volunteers and for some reason, I managed to get myself on stage not knowing that I will be requested to kiss her on her tummy...cool!!! I was actually left without a choice and did not want to offend the pretty lady so I did kiss her. She was asking for a kiss on her booby but I had to decline on that one...sorry JC. That particular scene ended with me being kissed by JC on my cheek...sayang ala ko nga sa tummy rin eh :)

Ventrillusion at the Makati Shangri-La Staff Party

We had a great night of VENTRILLUSION (Ventriloquism and Illusion) at the Makati Shangri-La staff party held last December 17 at the City Garden Penthouse. This gig was booked via the efforts of my pal Eric Uy who happens to be one of the best balloon sculptors in town.

The Instant Puppets... two mask routine was a riot...

Human Mascots involve the birthday kid's dad and his friends :) They talk funny and they dance too :)
