August 15, 1956 - March 10, 2008

Burik the Magician...one of my mentors in party hosting and clowning and a very good friend.

Burik was the one who gave me my first and only out of the country gig in Saipan in 1994.

We were together for a month in Saipan...we did a lot of funny and cool stuff in La Fiesta.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng tulong mo sa akin at sa pamilya ko.

I'll miss you pare!!!

Ocean Park, Manila

I performed at the opening of Ocean Park, Manila last Saturday. The show featured Nicolo, Alfalfa the Seal, Amorsolo the Turtle and the Axtell Big Baby...plus my Instant Puppets.

Open Mic at Conspiracy Bar

We had a Writers' Night- Open Mic at Conspiracy Bar last night. With me were Ony Carcamo who hosted the show with his Mack figure Nonoy...plus Flooch, Chayno, Diego and Sam.

Three stand-up comics from Comedy Cartel headed by Stanley Chi joined us as well.

I performed with Don Dom and my new standing figure Caloy :) Both figures I plan to use for my adult gigs only.

Sam Fuentes was with his creation...a very cute Pussy Cat :) The introduction caught me off guard...it was hilarious.

Flooch tried his skills in manipulating Caloy over an improv routine with Ony :)

After the Open Mic..we were all treated with some great music from Heber Bartolome et al.

Alfalfa the Seal

Introducing Alfalfa the Seal...he is my new puppet from Axtell Expressions and so far the most expensive Axtell puppet at $550...wow!!! :)

He did a few shows this weekend and I have to say he is worth every single centavo...the kids adore him.

Jimmuel Pacquiao's 7th Birthday

I hosted the 7th birthday party of Jimmuel Pacquiao today at Vivere Hotel in Alabang. Jimmuel is the eldest son of People's Pound for Pound Champion Manny Pacquiao who is now in the U.S. training for his fight against Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico.

The party was quite intimate, just some relatives and close friends of the family but a whole lot of Jimmuel's classmates and schoolmates from Brent.

I also performed my VENTRILLSUION ACT featuring some of my illusions and some of my puppets...Gonzo, Cooku, Nicolo and the Big Baby :)
